Smithville Mansion, Mount Holly, New Jersey Engagement: Jeff and Anna

It was late-April when I met Anna and Jeff at Smithville Mansion in Mount Holly for their engagement session. I love Spring. It’s a time of renewal and new life. There were gorgeous blooms everywhere- we even found the most beautiful purple flowers for a portrait of Anna’s engagement ring. Anna and Jeff are so genuinely fun to be around. They were super laidback even while they were in the process of moving and planning their wedding. I can’t wait to share their wedding with you!

Smithville Mansion, Mount Holly, NJ Engagement: Chris + Victoria

I've known Chris and Victoria for years- we've shot countless family sessions, and it was only a matter of time before this type of session was going to happen- their engagement session- and I couldn't be happier for them! They are the perfect match, along with their son, Aiden, they handle life with a toddler with a smile, and look amazing doing it. We headed to Smithville Mansion in Mount Holly and no matter how many times I've shot there, it never gets old. There are so many different spots around each corner, and it means something different to each couple. We were hoping to catch the fall foliage before it all came down, and luckily, we did! We were able to get some shots with Aiden before just focusing on the newly engaged couple. I'm so excited to be there to document Chris and Victoria's (and Aiden, too) big day next June!

Smithville Mansion Engagement: Meghan & Kyle

Meghan and Kyle's engagement session at Smithville Mansion took place just about one year prior to their wedding date- in October. What's not to love about October? Perfect temperatures, leaves changing... no doubt about it, I spend every weekend shooting in October, and I love it! We had a gorgeous sunset on this particular evening with such soft light- very romantic. I loved it so much, that I began the blog post in reverse :) 

Meghan and Kyle are so sweet and so adorably in love. Kyle makes Meghan laugh with just a simple look. They danced, laid in the grass, and just enjoyed each other's company.  I cannot wait for their perfect day at the Moorestown Community House in just eight short months!

Smithville Mansion Engagement: Paul & Katie

In late October, I met up with Paul and Katie for their engagement session at Smithville Mansion in Eastampton, NJ. Now, I've shot at Smithville Mansion MANY times, and I seriously never get tired of it. There is so much variety to work with in such a short distance... but this time was different- maybe that's why so many clients request it! Paul and Katie are the adventurous-type, who love to go hiking and exploring and they showed me areas of Smithville I didn't know existed... and in which time, Katie did so in heels. She's my hero! Paul and Katie brought along a special member of their family for some fun, their awesome dog Chesney! Such a cutie and so cooperative ;) I'm so excited for their wedding in August!

Smithville Mansion Engagement: Kevin and Kelly

Kevin and Kelly got engaged just two short months ago at Kevin's 30th birthday celebration. Friends and family surrounded them, as everybody knew what was about to happen... except Kelly. During a German birthday tradition, Kevin got down on one knee and asked Kelly for her hand in marriage... Have goosebumps yet? Kudos to Kevin for the planning and bravery of such an amazing and memorable engagement! Kevin and Kelly have been in full-swing wedding mode since then choosing a super cute venue, picking colors, and even special wedding shoes for both bride and groom ;) We got together one evening at historic Smithville Mansion in Mount Holly for their engagement session. Smithville is a wonderful place to shoot because there is so much variety and its so quaint and quiet. Every time I'm there, I come across something new- it's like a little adventure. Anyway- Kevin and Kelly are one of those funny couples who love to joke around and just enjoy each other- did I mention this makes for fabulous engagement photographs? The proof is here! I cannot wait to document the best day of their lives next August!
