Sea Isle City Engagement Session: Billy + Amy
On a warm Sunday evening in July, I met Billy and Amy in their favorite place Sea Isle for their engagement session. As we started off in the sand and towards the ocean by the dunes and then Billy told me his family was gathered on the beach still. So we had to head over to take a photo with them! They were sitting in a circle, laughing, talking, and if his is any indication of how fun the wedding is going to be… let’s just say I’m ready for a good time! Amy and Bill twirled, toasted, ran and cuddled… all the fun things that take place during an engagement session. I’m so excited for their wedding TOMORROW. Join my in congratulating the very happy couple!
Allaire State Park Engagement: Kyle and Meghan
Yesterday was one of those unicorn kind of days- 50 degrees in February with plenty of sunshine- perfect for Kyle and Meghan’s engagement session at Allaire State Park in Wall Township, New Jersey. I learned some interesting insights into their lives- like how Meghan likes to have “just a bite” of Kyle’s french onion soup, but has a little too much and was told she needs to get her own from now on. Or when I asked, jokingly, which kind of dog they would each be, Kyle immediately answered German Shepard and Meghan answered Golden Retriever. I loved that they took my advice and went out for dinner after their engagement session. I think making the engagement session a part of the wedding experience is so much fun- much like having the cake tasting- it should all be enjoyed! Meghan and Kyle are getting married this fall at Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm and I’m so excited to capture it!
Medford Lakes, NJ Engagement: Katie and Joe
Sometimes it’s really funny how things work out- on the day that my family officially moved to Medford, I had Katie and Joe’s engagement session… in Medford! We started out at Cathedral of the Woods in Medford Lakes, which has gorgeous gardens and just completely peaceful and quiet. They brought along their pup, Koda, who was camera ready with his bowtie and just so excited to a part of the engagement session. After an outfit change and a short car ride, we arrived to Lake 3 to watch the sunset. Katie and Joe strolled along the beach and cuddled on the docks, which made for some Nicholas Sparks worthy moments. What a great way to feel so welcomed into my new neck of the woods. I’m beyond excited for their wedding in June 2019!
