Medford New Jersey Family Photography Session with a Fellow Photography Bestie

Every November, photographers like me realize, “Hey, we didn’t schedule our OWN family photos!” So I immediately reached out to a friend/photographer of mine, of Laura Leigh Photo, to see if she could fit my family into her schedule AND to see if she had gotten her own family photographed yet. We met literally on a side of the road in November for a quick family session between getting the kids off the bus, and the sun setting at 4:30pm. Photographing this family is always filled with giggles, smiles, and of course a little roughhousing (read: boys). This was so much fun and I cannot wait to see which random road we end up on next year!

Ocean City New Jersey Family Photography Session Fun with the S Family

As a photographer, there's nothing quite like the joy of capturing precious family moments, especially when the backdrop is a sun-soaked beach town like Ocean City, New Jersey (my favorite beach town!). This summer, I had the pleasure of photographing the adventurous S family as they spent the evening in their summer haven, creating memories to last a lifetime. Their session was the perfect mix of what I love to offer my clients- posed AND candid moments. Every year, the extended family gathers in Ocean City, New Jersey for a weeklong tradition of beach days, cousin playtime, and multigenerational family fun. Photographing the same family for the second year in a row has been an extraordinary experience. It has reinforced my belief in the power of photography to capture not only moments but also the beautiful journey of life. The A family's story continues to unfold, and I can't wait to see how it evolves in the years to come. As a photographer, I'm privileged to be a part of their story, freezing these cherished moments in time for them to treasure forever.

Ocean City, NJ Family Beach Portraits - B Family

Cotton candy skies, warm breeze, children laughing. THIS is what summer evenings are all about in Ocean City, New Jersey - my happy place. The B family has been trusting me for a few years now to capture their family, and this year was very special, because grandmom and grandpop joined as well! What a FABULOUS way to commemorate a family vacation or to spend an evening with family. The B family was down for just one evening and was headed over to the famous Ocean City, New Jersey boardwalk for ice cream and of course, the rides.

Whitesbog Village Family Session: Danielle

There’s nothing like watching a family grow throughout the years. But with photographing a family every year, we have the challenge of keeping the location fresh- this year we decided on Whitesbog Historic Village in Browns Mills, New Jersey. We traveled down a dirt road for quite some time and then we found it- such a hidden gem.

Danielle is a friend of mine, and my bride’s probably recognize her from their wedding day- as we often shoot together- she’s my work wife :) She has the best fashion sense right down to everyone’s outfits- even the kids.

We had some beautiful winter light shining through the trees along hiking paths and hopefully made some new great photographs (and memories) for this very special family.
