Medford New Jersey Family Photography Session with a Fellow Photography Bestie
Every November, photographers like me realize, “Hey, we didn’t schedule our OWN family photos!” So I immediately reached out to a friend/photographer of mine, of Laura Leigh Photo, to see if she could fit my family into her schedule AND to see if she had gotten her own family photographed yet. We met literally on a side of the road in November for a quick family session between getting the kids off the bus, and the sun setting at 4:30pm. Photographing this family is always filled with giggles, smiles, and of course a little roughhousing (read: boys). This was so much fun and I cannot wait to see which random road we end up on next year!
Whitesbog Village Family Session: Danielle
There’s nothing like watching a family grow throughout the years. But with photographing a family every year, we have the challenge of keeping the location fresh- this year we decided on Whitesbog Historic Village in Browns Mills, New Jersey. We traveled down a dirt road for quite some time and then we found it- such a hidden gem.
Danielle is a friend of mine, and my bride’s probably recognize her from their wedding day- as we often shoot together- she’s my work wife :) She has the best fashion sense right down to everyone’s outfits- even the kids.
We had some beautiful winter light shining through the trees along hiking paths and hopefully made some new great photographs (and memories) for this very special family.
South Jersey Small Business Branding Session: Medford, New Jersey
What do you think of when you hear “Small business?” Here’s what comes to my mind.
Blood, sweat, tears…
No set schedule, always on call
Being your own boss
Wearing ALL the hats (marketing, sales, social media manager, accountant)
It’s overwhelming at times, but having been my own boss for TEN years now, I can say, I love it so much. I always carry paper with me, because the ideas never stop. Some parts of the business( like taxes and bookkeeping) are SO painful but it’s part of wearing all the hats.
I love celebrating other small businesses! We are the PULSE of our small town. Together we have a wealth of knowledge and ideas to endlessly inspire others. But being a small business owner, also means showing your face, maybe more than you would like, with your clients. I love helping other small businesses SHINE. A branding session is a great solution to walk away with products that will help connect you to your clients immediately! Did you know the photos that I post on social media that get the most likes are…. photos of myself?! It’s bizarre! Here’s a branding session with a very talented, funny, and amazing food stylist that specializes in unconventional charcuterie!
